Opa!

It's all Ελληνική to me...

So if you order a "salad" in Athens, do you have to specify that you want a "Greek" salad or does it just come that way?

All I can say is νόστιμα!
I don't mind in the least waking up to a beeping alarm at 5:25 AM to catch a 10:35 flight if this is the kind of fresh food I'm going to find in Athens.

The hotel room is spacious, the bed is comfortable, the Executive lounge is closed until tomorrow night (darn, no free snacks and drinks until then...) and, despite the pigeon "offerings" on the marble balcony, the view of the Acropolis in the not-so-distant distance is stunning.

A few hours of walking around in pure sunshine and +18∘C temperatures is just what the doctor ordered.  I don't have any stories yet (it was only day 1, after all...) but I can assure you that in the coming week there will be many more photos and tales of antics.

Until then, feel free to gorge yourself on the eye candy provided below.
